Lovely and very rare (almost extinct) three pound size marmalade from Seville. Most likely produced at the Maline Newcastle pottery house around the turn of the century.
Sold as found by excavators and overall in great condition with some crazing, and rust effects from burial.
Most all buried pieces have these these elements, but have yet somehow survived nearly a century.
This is a very, very rare pot, large and heavy, almost leaning toward a four pounder!
